1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the SyncDrop application ('App'), website, and related services (collectively, the 'Service').

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

SyncDrop provides tools for:
  • Cross-platform local network transfer of photos, files, and text messages
  • Synchronizing files and media to third-party cloud and storage platforms (including but not limited to Google Drive, Google Photos, NAS, WebDAV)
  • Automated transfer and synchronization based on user-defined rules
The Service operates without a user account system and does not provide centralized cloud storage operated by SyncDrop.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using SyncDrop, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that:
  • You are solely responsible for all content you transfer, sync, or manage using the App
  • You have the legal right to use, transfer, and store any files, photos, videos, or text you process through the Service
  • You will not use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, or harmful activities
  • You are responsible for maintaining backups of your important data

5. User Content and Data

SyncDrop does not claim ownership of any files, photos, videos, or text you process through the Service.

You retain full ownership and responsibility for your content.

SyncDrop does not store your files on its own servers. All transfers occur directly between your devices and/or third-party storage providers you configure.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms, including but not limited to:
  • Google Drive
  • Google Photos
  • Network-attached storage (NAS)
  • WebDAV servers
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. SyncDrop is not responsible for the availability, security, or behavior of third-party services.

7. Automated Transfers

The App may allow you to configure automated actions, including file transfers.

You acknowledge and agree that:
  • Automated rules may result in unintended transfers or overwrites
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing and testing your configuration
  • SyncDrop is not responsible for any data loss resulting from automation rules

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:
  • Use the Service to distribute malware, harmful code, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the App
  • Interfere with the normal operation or security of the Service
  • Use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its design, branding, and source code (excluding open-source components), remain the property of the developer.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or internal business purposes.

10. Service Availability

The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available.' We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices and systems.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that could cause harm or legal risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncDrop and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Device damage
  • Service interruptions
Even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
